Playground Equipment Expansion 2026<\/h3>\n

This project includes the purchase and installation of an ADA compliant Merry Go Round and safety surface at the Community Park playground. The project ($40,000) was partially funded by the Clermont County Community Development Block Grant.<\/p>\n

Community Park Walking Trail Extension 2025<\/h3>\n

This project extends the current walking trail in the community park by approximately a quarter mile winding behind the baseball field along the East Fork River.\u00a0 The cost of the project was $80,000, funded by the Ohio Capital Bill and is complete.<\/p>\n

Tollgate Road Watermain Replacement 2025<\/h3>\n

This project involves replacing 2,400 linear feet of watermain on Tollgate Road with 8″ polyvinyl chloride pipe, AWWA C900 PVC, 3 hydrants, 2 gate valves, and 12 service lines. Total project cost is $814,869. The village secured a grant of $643,747 from Ohio Public Works Commission for the project.<\/p>\n

E Main Street Sidewalk – Community Park to Intersection of SR 133 and E Main St. 2023-2024<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The project consists of the installation of a 12ft. wide shared use path from the bridge on E Main Street to the intersection of SR 133 and E Main Street. The Village secured $389,238 in Transportation Alternative funding from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) and $309,056 in HSIP Systemic Safety Funding from ODOT. Sixth Street Water Main Replacement and Sidewalk Addition 2024-2025<\/h3>\n

This project replaces water mains on Sixth Street between Main and Spring Streets. The Sixth Street portion also included a 4ft. widening of the street with an installation of a 5ft. sidewalk with curbs and gutters. The village secured $267,720 in grant funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission for the project<\/p>\n

Water Tower Improvements 2023-2025<\/h3>\n

This project involves the painting and repairing of both the 200,000 gallon 8th Street and 300,000 gallon East Main Street water towers. The village secured $508,350 in grant funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission for the project and $465,000 from the Ohio Department of Development.<\/p>\n

Pickleball Court\/Parking Lot Install 2024<\/h3>\n

This project involves the installation of two pickleball courts in the Community Park as well as a 32 space paved parking lot. This project was funded by the Abrams Foundation as well as the Clermont County Parks District. Total cost was $160,000. This project is complete.<\/p>\n

Old US 32 Water Line Replacement 2022-2023<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The project will include replacing 4,644 feet of water main, 6 hydrants, 12 gate valves and 32 water service lines. The project will include 8 service lines directional drilled and one 8-inch water main directional drilled under Old SR 32. Gate valves and tee’s will be installed at each intersection. The existing 6-inch water main will be abandoned in place. The village secured $513,562 in grant funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission for the project. This project is complete.<\/p>\n

Broadway and 4th St. Sidewalk Project – 2021-22<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The project consists of the removing and replacing sidewalk, driveway aprons and improving the drainage on parts of 4th Street and Broadway Street. Additional details will be available soon. The Village secured $125,368.20 in Clermont County Development Block grant funds for the project.\u00a0 Please call (513) 724-6107 with any questions about the project. Gay St. Reconstruction Phase II – 2021-22<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The project consists of the complete reconstruction of Gay Street from Fourth Street to the Railroad.\u00a0 Welsh Excavation Inc. has been awarded the contact for Gay Street Reconstruction Phase II.\u00a0 Additional details will be available soon.\u00a0 The Village secured $588,868 in Ohio Public Works grant funds for the project.\u00a0 This project is complete.<\/p>\n

New Community Park Entrance 2022<\/h3>\n

The reconfigured entrance to the community park was completed in 2022. The location provides better sight lines to crossing traffic as well as an additional turn lane for smoother and safer traffic flow. The village secured $20,000 in Clermont County Parks grant money for the project. This project is complete.<\/p>\n

Sewer Lining – Wilmar Ave. and West Main St. – 2022<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The project involves cleaning and televising existing sewers and laterals, sewer and lateral lining, and point repairs together with the necessary appertaining work. This project is complete.<\/p>\n

Gay St. Reconstruction Phase I – 2020<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fillmore Construction has been awarded the contract for the Gay St. Reconstruction Phase I project.\u00a0 In general, the project consists of the complete reconstruction of approximately 1,300 feet of Gay Street from N. Front Street to Fourth Street. Storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water main will be replaced and new curbing installed.<\/p>\n

The road will be reconstructed to 37′ curb to curb. The storm sewer and water line will be replaced through the entirety of the project with sanitary sewer being replaced from 2nd Street to Fourth Street. Existing curb ramps will be replaced with ADA complaint ones. The Village secured $500,000 in Small Government grant funds for the project.\u00a0\u00a0 This project is complete.<\/p>\n

Gay St. Reconstruction Phase III – TBD<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The project consists of the complete reconstruction of Gay Street from the Railroad to High Street. The project is currently in the design phase. Additional details will be available soon.\u00a0 Please call (513) 724-6107 with any questions about the project.<\/p>\n

State Route 133 Sewer Expansion – 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Stauffer Site Services LLC completed the State Route 133 Sewer Expansion project. The project consisted of the installation of 8″ diameter PVC gravity sewer lines, a pump station and a force main on State Route 133 to expand the sewer infrastructure from Main Street north to the interchange at State Route 32. The Village secured $250,000 in Appalachian Regional Commission grant funds and $150,000 through Clermont County Community Development Block grant funds for the project. Todds Run Foster Sewer Project – 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Stauffer Site Services LLC completed the Todds Run Foster Sewer Project. The project consisted of the installation of 8″ diameter PVC gravity sewer line from the Todds Run Foster Lift Station on Todds Run Foster Road.\u00a0 Please call (513) 724-6107 with any questions about the project.<\/p>\n
